The William Morris Bush Rose has cupped, loose petalled, rosette-shaped flowers in a lovely glowing shade of apricot-pink, paling slightly on the outside of the petals. There is a strong fragrance with elements of tea and fruit. It repeat flowers well. ‘William Morris’ forms a large, well-rounded shrub with good disease resistance. A vigorous variety, its growth is tall and slightly arching with light green, rather glossy foliage and few thorns. It is extremely hardy and reliable, making it an ideal rose for further back in the border, where it will withstand some competition better than most.
