Allium Purple Rain has delightful grapefruit sized heads of erupting purple stars. This variety has proven to be a good divider and makes exquisite cut flowers both when they are fresh and when dried.
Plant now in a full sun to part shade position for flowers in November/December. They are frost hardy and will get to about 80cm tall.
